Emeren Group has announced the successful signing of the SPA of a 29 MWp solar PV portfolio in Spain. Emeren is a solar project developer, owner, and operator, while its partner Rubis Photosol is a French photovoltaic electricity producer. According to the companies, the 29 MWp portfolio consists of three late-stage projects, equipped with PV solar trackers, located in the Municipality of Algorfa, Alicante, Spain. They informed that the projects are likely to to generate approximately 57,000 MWh of clean energy, capable of powering around 20,000 households. The projects are planned to enter into operation during the second half of 2025. The duo informed that the latest transaction was facilitated by the European Solar Energy Development JV. Yumin Liu, CEO of Emeren Group, was quoted in a statement, "We're delighted to announce the signing of these three utility-scale projects in Spain. Our partnership with Eiffel Investment Group not only strengthens our presence in Spain but also aligns seamlessly with our strategic expansion across Europe.
