A vertical photovoltaic system is being built at Frankfurt Airport. With an output of 17.4 MW, it will be the world's largest large-scale vertical PV system on an airport site. The vertically positioned solar modules are installed on a total area of 30.8 hectares in green areas along the west runway. The Next2Sun Group is not only a system supplier for the vertically displayed PV modules, but as a system manufacturer is also responsible for the implementation of the project.
