Gurīn Energy appoints former Indonesian foreign affairs minister H.E. Retno Marsudi to Board of Directors

SINGAPORE, Friday, 22 November 2024 - Leading Asian renewable energy developer

Gurīn Energy today announced the appointment of Her Excellency Retno Marsudi as a Non-Executive Director to the company’s Board of Directors, effective 21 November 2024.

As an independent Non-Executive Director, Mrs Marsudi will provide strategic guidance to Gurīn Energy’s management team and contribute to the robustness and effectiveness of the governance of the company.

Mrs Marsudi’s appointment follows her highly distinguished career in Indonesia’s foreign

service that has spanned four decades, during which time she blazed a trail as Indonesia’s first female Minister for Foreign Affairs in former President Joko Widodo’s Cabinet.

A champion of sustainable development, Mrs Marsudi has received various illustrious

awards at home and internationally for her advocacy work. This includes the Agent of

Change Award from the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.
