SEIASA Tenders 2.50 MW Solar Project for Monzón Irrigation

The State Mercantile Society of Agrarian Infrastructures, SA (SEIASA) has launched a tender for the works to modernize the irrigation systems of a community of irrigators in Huesca. This project consists of a 2.50 MW photovoltaic system for self-consumption. The deadline for submitting offers is open until May 9. The total budget of the project is 12,141,442 euros. The execution period of the works is 18 months.

The works planned for the modernization of the irrigation systems of the Nuestra Señora de la Alegría de Monzón Irrigation Community will affect, for the most part, the municipality of Monzón, province of Huesca, in a section of its easternmost sector, as well as to different adjacent spaces, to the east of it.

The project has a 2.50 MW photovoltaic solar plant to supply electrical energy to the pumping equipment designed to raise water and which will be located next to the collection pond. The photovoltaic solar modules will be 550 W monocrystalline and PERC technology. The structure will be fixed to the ground by driving, with a driving depth of 1.5 meters, having an aerial structure of S350GD + ZM310 magnelis.

In addition, the project consists of a filtering and pumping station with 1,264 kW of installed power, located next to the regulation pond and which will allow the water to be raised to the cup pond or elevated pond from where it is planned to irrigate the entire surface. of the community of irrigators by natural pressure.
