Shizen joint with Kyuden to develop renewables in Southeast Asia



Shizen International Inc. (Shizen International), a Shizen Energy Group company, announces that , it entered into a capital alliance with Kyuden International Corporation (Kyuden International), the overseas business arm of the Kyushu Electric Power Group (Kyuden Group), to jointly develop the renewable energy business, primarily in Southeast Asia.


Kyuden International is actively developing its energy business in Asia and around the world, by utilizing Kyushu Electric Power Co. Inc. ’s technological strengths and expertise.


Shizen International has experience in renewable energy power source development in several Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, and is involved in diverse power source development ranging from rooftop solar power generation facilities at factories and commercial facilities to large-scale solar and wind power plants.


Both companies will work together to expand the renewable energy business in the future by combining the business know-how and local networks that Shizen International has cultivated to date in various countries with Kyuden International’s technological and developmental expertise, and by jointly examining future development opportunities.
