Sunview Group Berhad, through its subsidiary Fabulous Sunview Sdn. Bhd. has entered into a Strategic Business Alliance Agreement with Kun Production Trading Export Co., Ltd. The collaboration aims to explore business opportunities in the field of renewable energy (RE) and green energy in Cambodia. The agreement outlines the roles of the parties and serves as a preliminary platform for future projects in the mentioned sector.
About the Parties:
Fabulous Sunview: A wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunview Group Berhad, Fabulous Sunview specializes in the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic facilities. The company is actively engaged in the RE sector in Malaysia.
Kun Production Trading Export Co., Ltd: Based in Cambodia, Kun Production is a well-established company specializing in manufacturing packaging products. It has expressed interest in investing in green and renewable energy projects in Cambodia.
Salient Terms of the Agreement:
Objective: The agreement outlines the intentions and mutual understanding of the parties in connection with the collaboration, specifically focusing on future projects related to RE and green energy in Cambodia.
Relationship: The parties agree to work together in good faith to carry out the project, and neither party shall hold itself out as having authority to make commitments on behalf of the other.
Collaboration Scope: The collaboration includes sourcing potential development and investment opportunities, identifying suitable locations, obtaining necessary approvals, and joint investment in the project. Fabulous Sunview will serve as the sole engineering, procurement, construction, and commission (EPCC) company for the project.
Term and Termination: The agreement is effective from the date of signing until mutual termination or the expiration of one year, whichever is later. It can be terminated in case of material breach or insolvency.
The agreement represents a strategic alliance for new business development, particularly in the execution of RE projects in Cambodia. Both parties aim to leverage their expertise to contribute to the advancement of sustainable and clean energy solutions in the region.
