Surfactor Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd has initiated its renewable energy project by implementing solar technology at its Johor facility.
The subsidiary of surfactor Germany GmbH, a well-established leader in technical surfaces, celebrated the commencement of the installation project in collaboration with Solar Galactic (M) Sdn Bhd.
The solar panels will cover 2,688 square meters across two buildings and a car park, with an investment of RM 2.5 million aimed at generating 20% of the company’s annual energy needs.
This move aligns with the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) of Malaysia, emphasizing surfactor Asia Pacific’s commitment to sustainability and reduced carbon footprint.
The project, starting in January 2024, is expected to be completed by mid-April 2024, emphasizing the company’s dedication to long-term sustainability.
