The Granada group Negratín sells a portfolio of 86 MW solar to Emeren




Specifically, the transaction includes a portfolio of 13 solar plants, with 86 MWp of aggregate power, with the capacity to produce 16,471.371 KWh annually, enough to supply energy to 51,380 homes, and the reduction of emissions from 19,544 vehicles each year. The projects, located in the central area of Spain and with preferential right of execution by Negratín, will begin construction at the end of this year and are expected to be operational throughout 2025.


Enrique Díaz, CEO of Negratín: “This operation allows us to increase the project execution portfolio and will expand the radius of action of the different business areas to the United States and the Latin American countries where Negratín is already present.”


With this operation, the American firm seeks to strengthen its presence in Spain, where it already has a portfolio in an advanced phase of more than 300 MW of solar energy and 100 MWh of storage, which are added to the more than 4 GW managed by the company. Worldwide. In addition, Emeren plans to develop and build battery energy storage systems at these sites, which will mean savings of 35,903.9 tons of C02 annually, for which it also has the engineering, promotion and construction services of Negratín.
