111-MWp Solar Project in Germany Approved for Grid Connection

Israel-based agri-food tech company N2OFF Inc and Solterra Renewable Energy Ltd have secured grid-connection approval for a 111 MWp solar project in Germany. The project, located in the municipality of Melz, will be connected to the power grid of a regional energy service provider, according to a press statement released on Tuesday.

This Melz facility is the first project under a newly formed joint venture between N2OFF and Solterra, established earlier this month. It represents N2OFF’s initial foray into the solar market, with the company agreeing to fund this and future projects developed by Solterra.

Solterra, founded in 2022, oversees a portfolio of solar projects at various stages of development, with a total cumulative capacity of approximately 300 MW. The company is currently active in Italy, Poland, and Germany.
