Avintia Energía has received green signal for a portfolio of 11 renewable energy projects with a total capacity of 281MW in Spain.
The company has already obtained a positive environmental impact statement for the projects.
The portfolio includes three wind farms with 65MW capacity and eight solar parks with 216MW.
Regarding the locations, the wind projects are located in Galicia, while the PV parks will be based in Castilla la Mancha, Andalusia, Castilla y León and Valencia.
José Castelo, General Director of Avintia Energía, was quoted in a statement, “This milestone of positive DIAs allows us to take the first steps within our strategic plan and begin to make visible the work behind each renewable energy project, encouraging us to continue working for decarbonisation and the production of cleaner energy.”
Meanwhile, the company informed that it also has a separate portfolio of four projects. These projects have a capacity to generate 230MW of electricity.
Under the third portfolio, the company further stated that it has 36 “ready to bid” projects for capacity tenders.
With all these projects in pipelines, the company will have 2420MW of projects across Spain.
