Elawan Energy to Begin Supplying Solar Power to Google in the US Starting 2026

Elawan Energy will supply renewable energy to Google from 2026 , which will use it to develop its operations in Texas (United States).


The former Gestamp Wind, of Spanish origin and currently owned by the Japanese group Orix, announced the future supply to the technological multinational under a corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a 37 megawatts of direct current (MW) photovoltaic project.


The photovoltaic plant, which is currently in an advanced stage of development, is scheduled to begin commercial operations in 2026.


Elawan operates 1.8 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy projects in 15 countries across Europe and the Americas, of which more than 300 MW of the operating portfolio is in North America, and has approximately 8 GW under development.
