
LONGi has entered into partnership with Nofar Energy Romania for a PV project in Romania.
The duo has inked a 576MW sales agreement for the project, while LONGi will supply its Hi-MO 7 modules.
As per the companies, the project has been aligned with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards. Besides, it has been reported that the agreements include the supplier's commitment to meeting stringent requirements related to the supply chain.
Mirel Jarnea, Sales Manager Romania at LONGi, was quoted in a statement, "This strategic partnership with Nofar Energy Romania marks a significant step forward in advancing sustainable energy solutions in Romania. LONGi is proud to contribute with our high-efficiency panels, bringing innovation to the forefront and fostering a greener future for the region.”
Meanwhile, Favi Stelian, CEO Nofar Energy Romania, remarked, “Our agreement with LONGi is a testament to our shared vision and unwavering commitment to provide sustainable energy solutions in Romania. We look forward to the exciting journey ahead and the success that our strengthened partnership will undoubtedly bring.”
As per the companies, there will be ESG-compliant bank financing for three key projects in line with the criteria of the banking corporation.
The project is likely to go into construction in 2024 and will enter into operation in 2025.
