Nexun has entered into partnership with a Polish provider for a 206MW solar projects. It is a platform dedicated to greenfield PV projects.
The company signed a co-development agreement for a pipeline of 16 medium-sized solar projects. It stated that all of the developments have a land lease signed.
According to Nexun, it is a Marguerite portfolio company with a commitment to invest up to €60 million. It has been informed that the latest investment is in line with Marguerite’s strategy to invest to address the climate change woes and energy transition.
“Nexun will apply for grid connection for the first 52MW in September 2023 and another circa 60MW in the last quarter of 2023,” as per the agreement. The company plans to become one of Poland’s leading developers to transfer power production to sustainable energy.
“Poland is an essential market for solar power in the EU, which is why this cooperation is a significant milestone in our solar development activities,” Nexun chief executive Josef Kastner, was quoted in a statement.
Nexun has similar co-development projects in negotiations in Poland, Germany, and Spain.
Nexun chief development officer Chloe Durieux, was quoted in a statement, “We are excited to have this first co-developer partnership in Poland. Through strategic investments and partnerships, we are determined to drive the adoption of sustainable energy solutions and create a cleaner, more sustainable future for generations to come.”
The company plans to build a portfolio of over 2GW projects within the next six years.
