Nordex Group secures deal for wind projects with 227 wind turbines

Nordex Group has secured deals for wind projects with the order of 227 wind turbines.

This order has a total rated output of 1441MW in the third quarter of 2022.

The company informed that there were 389 wind turbines in the same quarter of last year. With this, there was a total capacity of 1829MW.

According to Nordex Group, the average selling price in euros per megawatt of output has reached €900,000 per MW. This number was only €690,000 per MW last year.

The company stated that it generated an order intake of 4424MW in the first nine months of this year. Nordex secured deals of orders from eleven countries including Brazil, Germany, Finland, Poland and Spain.

In the same period last year, it had 4610MW order intake.

"We recorded a solid order intake in the third quarter and this in a challenging environment. In this context, demand for our products, especially, our turbine type N163/5.X, has proven quite robust in our established markets in Europe and Latin America despite increasing turbine prices," CEO of Nordex Group Jose Luis Blanco, was quoted in a statement.
