Nordic Solar Completes Record Third Divestment in 2024 with Sale of French Solar Park

Nordic Solar A/S has successfully signed a share purchase agreement for Montmayon, a 2.8 MW solar plant in France.

This marks the company’s first divestment in the French market and is part of its strategy to streamline its operating portfolio by focusing on core markets while recycling capital for further investments in large-scale solar projects.

The divestment of Montmayon, following another sale just weeks prior, highlights Nordic Solar’s ability to execute its strategy efficiently. The plant, which has been operational for eight years, was sold after demonstrating strong performance, with the goal of enhancing growth and capital recycling.

With three divestments completed in 2024, Nordic Solar has achieved a record number of asset sales in a single year. The company is also actively exploring further divestment opportunities in the near future.
