R.Power Commissions 9 MWp Solar Farm in Alhais

R.Power is proud to announce the successful commissioning of its latest solar installation in Alhais, Pombal, Portugal.

The solar farm is located in Alhais, Pombal, Portugal, and boasts a total capacity of over 9 MWp. More than 16,000 solar panels have been installed across a 19-hectare site. The facility is expected to generate over 17 GWh of clean energy annually.

The plant features an innovative tracking system that optimizes the orientation of the panels, ensuring maximum energy capture throughout the day. This technical advancement enhances the overall efficiency of the farm and contributes to a higher yield of renewable energy.

The Alhais solar farm was built by Nomad Electric, who will also provide ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) services, ensuring the continued optimal performance of the facility.

With this project now operational, R.Power strengthens its role in contributing to Europe’s green energy transition, providing clean electricity to the national grid and further supporting Portugal’s commitment to renewable energy.
