Reneuco RE joins hands with MBPJ for rooftop solar project in Malaysia

Reneuco RE Sdn Bhd has inked a deal with Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) for a rooftop solar project in Malaysia.
The duo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the installation of Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic at Pusat Inovasi MBPJ.
Reneuco Berhad is an energy company which is on the way of expanding its renewable energy offerings. The latest project aligns with its goal of becoming a key player in the renewable energy sector.
This agreement will provide cost savings, data sharing, and reduce carbon emissions for MBPJ.
According to the company, the proposed capacity of the project is 267.3kWp. Reneuco RE will handle installation, maintenance, and performance monitoring of the solar panel system for 15 years, while MBPJ will participate in energy efficiency initiatives.
It has been informed that the project falls under the Net Energy Metering Programme (NEM) 3.0. The duo informed that the project aims to “promote renewable energy technology, reduce energy consumption, and contribute to Malaysia’s carbon emissions reduction.”
