Shikun And Binui Energy Advances Solar Power In Israel With New Battery Arrivals At Tidhar Project Site

Writer: Energy BoxEnergy Box

The arrival of batteries at the Tidhar project site marks a significant milestone for Shikun and Binui Energy. This development brings the company closer to completing its 10 MW solar energy project, which includes 54 MWh of storage capacity. These batteries are essential for ensuring a reliable and sustainable energy supply by storing excess energy produced during peak sunlight hours for later use.

Tidhar is Shikun and Binui Energy’s second major project in the region, following the Netiv HaAsara project, which boasts a 12 MW capacity and 56 MWh of storage. Both projects are situated in the Gaza Envelope region and are high priorities for the company as part of its commitment to supporting the area’s recovery and growth following the terror attack in October last year.

Beyond Tidhar and Netiv HaAsara, Shikun and Binui Energy is developing a substantial portfolio of PV-plus storage projects across Israel. This initiative underscores the company’s dedication to providing sustainable and scalable energy solutions to meet future demands.
