SolaX Debuts High-Capacity 215 kWh Energy Storage System

SolaX Power, a leading Chinese company, has launched two innovative lines of integrated energy storage systems designed to support up to 200% photovoltaic (PV) oversizing. The systems' rated output power spans from 3 kW to 15 kW, offering a wide range of options for various energy needs.
The newly unveiled X1-IES series includes four models with rated outputs ranging from 3 kW to 8 kW. Meanwhile, the X3-IES series features five models with output power ranging from 5 kW to 15 kW.
"These systems support up to 200% PV input and a maximum of 20A DC input per Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT)," the company stated. "This exceptional capability ensures peak efficiency, resulting in higher energy yields and more sustainable output."
The systems incorporate lithium-ion batteries with a nominal capacity of 5.1 kWh. The X1-IES series offers configurations with one to four batteries, providing capacities from 5.1 kWh to 20.4 kWh. The X3-IES series supports two to six batteries, offering capacities from 10.2 kWh to 30.7 kWh.
"With a switchover time of less than 10 milliseconds, the transition from grid to backup power is almost instantaneous," the company added. "The system can handle a remarkable 200% Emergency Power Supply (EPS) overload for up to 10 seconds and features a 50 A charging/discharging rate."
These systems are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 53°C. Users can opt for additional safety features, including Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) and Rapid Shutdown, and all systems come equipped with Type II Surge Protective Devices (SPD) on both AC and DC sides.
"The X1/X3-IES series utilizes artificial intelligence-driven features for energy management," the manufacturer explained. "Smart Schedule, Intelligent Loads Management, and Smart Scene capabilities enable precise control and customization, ensuring efficient energy allocation and utilization based on user preferences and demands."
