Solutions30, a leading provider of integrated services in the Energy, New Technologies, and Telecom sectors, has announced the acquisition of a 10% stake in So-Tec, a renowned company specializing in the construction of photovoltaic power plants. The acquisition, made alongside So-Tec’s existing management team, marks a strategic move by Solutions30 to enhance its service offerings in the Energy, New Technologies, and Telecom sectors.
So-Tec, headquartered near Montpellier, France, boasts nearly 100 employees and annual sales exceeding 20 million euros. The company is widely recognized for its expertise in the photovoltaic sector, particularly in the deployment of ground-mounted structures and rooftop power plants across France.
The partnership between Solutions30 and So-Tec, with a combined experience of nearly 30 years, aims to provide the French market with a comprehensive “Made in France” solution. This collaboration will enable Solutions30 to offer complete project management services, encompassing Structural and Electrical work packages, as well as overall management of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts.
By leveraging synergies between the two companies, Solutions30 intends to streamline project delivery processes, optimize procurement, and ensure efficient construction scheduling, thus providing customers with seamless project management solutions.
The investment in So-Tec underscores Solutions30’s commitment to expanding its presence in the photovoltaic sector and establishing itself as a key player in France. The company aims to double its sales in the photovoltaic sector to €40 million by 2024, with So-Tec expected to contribute to the Group’s sales from 2025 onwards.
To achieve its ambitious growth targets, Solutions30 plans to capitalize on commercial synergies, extend its operations nationwide, and bolster its workforce by recruiting 50 new employees by 2024. Additionally, the company will initiate a training program in Energy, New Technologies, and Telecom professions to prepare for the sector’s anticipated growth in the coming years.
