Sunflower Energy Receives Investment Project For $15.6 Million In Cambodia

The Investment Committee of Cambodia of the Council for the Development of Cambodia has decided to issue investment project registration certificates to six companies.

These six companies are Den Nokor (Cambodia) Investment Company LTD, Sunflower Energy (Cambodia) Company LTD, IA ZHI XIN Agriculture Technology Development (Cambodia) Company LTD, GTVC Import Export Company LTD, Meng Feng Packaging (Cambodia) Company LTD, and Greater Health Product (Cambodia) Company LTD.

Sunflower Energy (Cambodia) Co. to establish a factory to produce and assemble solar panels, located in Kdan Roy village, Damnak Ampil commune, Ang Snoul district, Kandal province with an investment capital of approximately $15.6 million. This will also create 339 job opportunities.

Cambodia’s solar sector is expected to grow with the establishment of new factories and investments in renewable energy projects especially in solar energy.
