
Renewable energy player Sunview Group Berhad announced that it has entered into a partnership with Yayasan Hijau Malaysia for transition into a green future.
Sunview inked a memorandum of understanding through its wholly owned subsidiary Fabulous Sunview Sdn. Bhd while Yayasan Hijau Malaysia is an agency under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change.
The duo agreed to focus on empowering and educating the public on sustainable developments.
According to the companies, they will “jointly undertake a sustainability campaign known as “17 Shades of Green” to engage and support business-to-business companies in Malaysia in achieving their respective sustainability goals,” a local report mentioned.
Sunview chief executive officer and executive director Ong Hang Ping was quoted in a statement, “The strategic partnership with YHM will act as a launchpad for the Campaign where our vision is aligned with SDG number 17, emphasizing on the importance of partnerships in achieving sustainability. “
The duo aims to help Malaysia in its transition to green energy and technologies.
Meanwhile, YHM will act as a strategic partner and facilitator while Sunview will be the Campaign organizer and B2B development partner, the duo shared.
