The consortium signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) during the official visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to the Kingdom in 2024.
This project is part of Saudi Arabia's National Renewable Energy Programme, aligned with the country's Vision 2030 goals to diversify energy sources and expand renewable energy capacity. The Rabigh 2 project marks a significant milestone in the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to boost solar energy production.
