TotalEnergies ENEOS has completed the installation of 2 MWp solar rooftop systems at the NTN and NTPT plant in Thailand.

TotalEnergies ENEOS has successfully completed the installation of two solar rooftop systems, totaling 2 megawatt-peak (MWp) capacity, at NTN Corporation and NTPT Company Limited plants in the Pinthong industrial area, Chonburi Province, Thailand.

The installations, featuring around 3,450 solar panels, are expected to produce approximately 2,700 megawatt-hours (MWh) of renewable energy annually. This output will cover about 15% of each plant’s energy requirements, leading to notable cost savings and a reduction in carbon emissions by approximately 1,620 tons per year. This reduction is comparable to removing around 350 cars from the road or planting over 24,300 trees.

Under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), TotalEnergies ENEOS has fully funded, installed, and will operate the solar systems for the next 20 years. NTN and NTPT will only pay for the electricity generated, with no upfront costs involved.
