Renewable energy leader Voltalia has acquired a 55% stake in the 60 MW Mosselbanken solar plant in the Netherlands, expanding its presence in Zeeland. With a 15-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), Voltalia taps into the Dutch market’s vast potential, offering comprehensive services in solar plant development, construction, operation, and maintenance. The acquisition underscores Voltalia’s commitment to the entire renewable energy value chain, reinforcing its position in the thriving Dutch market.
“This is the first time we will generate power in the Netherlands, strengthening our position as service provider in the fast-growing Dutch renewable energy market. The Mosselbanken solar plant helps to avoid 17,000 tons of CO2 annually”, said Sébastien Clerc, CEO of Voltalia.
