2.52 MW PV Project and LED Supply Tender Issued by Extremadura for 6.8 Million Euros

The Junta de Extremadura has launched a tender for the supply of photovoltaic generation systems totaling 2.52 MW for self-consumption with surpluses eligible for compensation, as well as LED luminaires to renew interior lighting fixtures in buildings.
This project will be carried out in 58 secondary schools managed by the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Vocational Training.
The project, divided into two lots, involves 52 educational centers with a total contract value of 6,848,945 euros. Bids can be submitted until 12 September, and the execution period for the works is 9 months.
Lot 1: Includes 30 educational centers with a budget of 3,403,909 euros, comprising:
LED replacement for 1,892,877.86 euros
1,150 MW photovoltaic generation systems for 1,511,031.56 euros
Lot 2: Includes 28 educational centers with a budget of 3,445,035.62 euros, comprising:
LED replacement for 1,628,605.77 euros
1,367 MW photovoltaic generation systems for 1,816,429.86 euros
The project is funded by the European Union through the Elena Facility within the Horizon 2020 Programme, alongside the 2021-2027 Extremadura Feder operational programme.
