Aeb, part of the A2A Group, has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of a photovoltaic plant in Faenza, Ravenna, owned by 2B, a company authorized to construct and operate the plant. This acquisition aligns with Aeb's 2024-2035 industrial plan, which includes €497 million in investments to support the country's energy transition.

Construction of the plant began in July 2024 and is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2025. The plant will have an installed capacity of 7.6 MW and produce over 11 GWh annually, meeting the electricity needs of over 3,500 families.
“This new infrastructure will provide green energy, contributing to the decarbonization of our company and country. Our collaboration with A2A enables us to leverage essential expertise for sustainable development,” said Massimiliano Riva, Chairman of Aeb's Board of Directors.
