Exus Renewables has secured a substantial asset management contract with BNZ for 350MW solar projects in Spain.
The agreement encompasses technical and commercial asset management services for 11 solar projects and one holding company. These projects are strategically spread across Spain, and their commercial operation dates are set between May 2024 and June 2025.
Under the contract, Exus will provide a comprehensive suite of technical and financial asset management services. This includes overseeing operational aspects such as regular maintenance and performance monitoring to optimize energy production. Our specialized team will also provide BNZ with access to our proprietary solar optimization and reporting tool, BlueSky, ensuring thorough oversight to analyze, maximize, and establish performance benchmarks across all projects.
Before commercial operation, Exus will assist BNZ with detailed financial planning and reporting to ensure the projects are financially robust and ready for successful operations. By managing financial aspects early on, Exus aims to streamline the transition to the entire operation and minimize monetary risks.
The partnership is underpinned by a shared commitment to rigorous project oversight, revenue optimization, and long-term profitability. BNZ's Managing Director, Luis Selva, highlighted their focus on stable returns and operational efficiency, while Exus Renewables' CEO, Diogo Reis, underscored our commitment to supporting BNZ in achieving optimal performance and sustainability across their solar portfolio.
This collaboration marks a significant step in advancing renewable energy solutions and demonstrates Exus Renewables' dedication to facilitating the renewable energy transition in the region.
