Eiffage Énergie Systèmes is deploying super-charging stations for electric vehicles at motorway service areas and supermarket car parks in the region on behalf of two third-party investors.
Powerdot and Fastned, two European operators specializing in electric vehicle charging infrastructures (IRVE), have partnered with Eiffage Énergie Systèmes to install super-stations in Côte-d'Or (21), Saône-et-Loire (71), and soon in Yonne (89).
Near Dijon, a rapid electric charging station for Fastned, located at the APRR motorway service area in Gevrey-Chambertin, features photovoltaic canopies. "This station allows vehicles to charge in less than 20 minutes with charging points offering up to 300 kW. We can adapt the charging type based on expected use. The five stations installed for Powerdot in supermarket car parks can charge a vehicle in 30 minutes to an hour, which is convenient for customers doing their shopping," explains Stéphane Merle, Infrastructure Department Manager at Eiffage Énergie Systèmes.
Eiffage Énergie Systèmes has confirmed the installation of three new stations in Mâcon, Saône-et-Loire (71), and another in Migennes, Yonne (89), in partnership with Powerdot. Both Fastned and Powerdot expect to amortize their investments through the number of vehicle recharges, creating a win-win system that meets growing customer demand.
