Spanish renewable energy developer Capital Energy is all set to construct 108 MW of wind farm projects in Spain.
According to the renewable power retailer, these projects will be developed in the region of Castile and Leon, in northwestern part of the country.
The company informed that the Pedrecha and San Cristobal projects with each have a 54 MW of capacity. The wind farms are a part of a 148.5 MW wind cluster in the area.
The latest development is followed by agreements of the company with two town halls in the region's Soria province.
It further stated that the construction of these wind parks will require EUR 140 million (USD 142.8m) in investments.
According to the agreements, Capital Energy will be “supporting initiatives important to the communities that will host its wind farms and the associated 400-kV transmission line,” a report mentioned.
