Cero Generation, an independent portfolio company of Macquarie Asset Management’s Green Investment Group (GIG), has offloaded 80 MWp of solar projects in Poland to renewables investor and independent power producer GoldenPeaks Capital.
The sale was announced on Friday by law firm Denons, which provided legal counsel to Cero Generation. It comes on the heels of GoldenPeaks' acquisition, through its Oicles Renewable Energy subsidiary, of a 69-MWp portfolio of photovoltaic (PV) projects in Poland from developer R.Power SA Group in February.
The divested portfolio by Cero consists mostly of ready-to-build projects, which GoldenPeaks plans to finance, build and operate. Details about the individual schemes' locations and construction timelines were not available in the press statement.
Last November, Cero Generation's EOS joint venture unloaded 91 MWp of solar PV projects in Poland, most of which shovel-ready, to R.Power.
