Ukrainian private energy group DTEK plans to install a series of energy storage systems across Ukraine with a total capacity of 200 MW, investing EUR 140 million (USD 154.6m) in the project.

The facilited at bies are aimolstering Ukraine’s energy security and should become operational no later than September 2025, DTEK said on Thursday.

The storage systems will be used by Ukrainian state-owed grid operator Ukrenergo. DTEK agreed to provide ancillary services to the state-owned firm after winning an auction in August.
