Dutch rooftop solar mounting solutions provider Enstall has agreed to acquire German rival Schletter Group to enhance its presence in Germany and central Europe and complement its product portfolio with ground-mounted installations.
As agreed, Schletter’s current shareholders, Avenue Capital Group and Robus Capital, will become minority shareholders in Enstall.
The deal, whose financial details were not disclosed, hinges on regulatory approvals. Completion is expected to occur in the second half of 2024.
Established in 1968, Schletter provides solar mounting systems for roofs, facades and carports, along with ground-mounted solar installations, including trackers and fixed-tilt systems. The firm has so far supplied over 55 GWp of solar installations worldwide.
Through the deal, Enstall aims to become a “one-stop-shop global solar mounting powerhouse”, with a portfolio covering both rooftop and ground-mount segments. The transaction marks a key step in the Dutch company's growth strategy, it said.
