Ciel & Terre, a French company, has started the construction of an 11-MWp floating solar power park in Saint-Savin commune, Vienne department. The company is utilizing its Hydrelio aiR Optim technology that is based on HDPE floating structures to support modules of up to 670 W in size. Energ'Isere was responsible for developing the project in collaboration with GenSun and Ciel & Terre will deliver it on a turnkey basis. This is part of the company's plan to complete a 100-MWp portfolio of floating solar projects across Europe this year, some of which are already under construction.
