French Packaging Group Albea Signs 12-MWp Solar Power Off-Take Agreement

Solar power developer and producer TSE has signed a power off-take deal with compatriot Albea calling for the French cosmetic packaging products maker to procure electricity from a 12-MWp solar plant.

The corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) will ensure the supply of green electricity to Albea for 15 years, TSE said in a press statement.

TSE will meet its commitment under the deal by providing electricity from a photovoltaic (PV) park to be installed in eastern France and planned to be commissioned in June 2026. Thanks to the power procurement arrangement, Albea will cover more than 20% of the demand of its French manufacturing sites with renewable energy.

“This partnership with TSE is an important step in our decarbonization journey and is in line with our green energy policy,” said Francois Tassart, CEO of the Albea group.
