Green energy initiative from Agape ATP Corporation drives sustainability in Malaysia

Agape ATP Corporation announces the advancement of its Sustainability Green Energy Initiative during the NASDAQ Opening Bell Ringing Ceremony at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The event, a momentous occasion for ATPC, was graced by distinguished guests, including the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, YB Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr.) Johari Bin Abdul, and senior representatives from various sectors and countries worldwide.

Founder and Global Group CEO of ATPC, Dato’ Sri Dr. How Kok Choong, expressed gratitude to the global partners and esteemed Malaysian dignitaries, emphasizing the shared vision for a sustainable future. A key element of ATPC’s sustainability strategy is the impending acquisition of a 51% stake in Volt Industries Sdn. Bhd. (VOLT), cemented by a Memorandum of Agreement in November 2023.

Dato Sri How emphasized these endeavors, expressing, “Our commitment to sustainable development is evident in our initiative to set up 50 EV charging stations in Pahang and our plans for a 300 MWp solar farm in Sabah. These endeavors, strengthened by our collaborations, demonstrate the successful coexistence of environmental sustainability and corporate expansion. Today, we stand ready for a future where green energy is not merely a choice but a driving catalyst for innovation and prosperity.”

Moreover, VOLT independently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KAB Smart Solar Energy Sdn. Bhd. This collaboration focuses on Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning services for Solar Photovoltaic systems, underlining the synergy between VOLT’s EV charging station expertise and KAB Smart Solar’s proficiency in solar energy.
