GreenVolt to develop five solar projects in Portugal

GreenVolt is all set to develop five solar projects in Portugal.

These projects will add 70MW of capacity in its portfolio. The new parks will be built in the centre and south of Portugal.

The company has planned to start the construction soon. The solar projects will join another project Cantanhede park which is already in production. This solar project has a capacity of 10MW, while it has an estimated production of 16GW annually.

According to the company, “the six schemes are part of a set of photovoltaic solar projects that total 243MW of capacity.” GreenVolt owns 50% of these projects.

Out of this, around 160MW are in an advanced stage of development.
