Italian renewables platform Sistema Rinnovalbili has sealed the financial deal for a 30MW solar plant.
Sistema Rinnovalbili is the Pioneer Point Partners’platform. The company reached the deal for the €32m project.
ING Bank’s Milan Branch has agreed to finance the construction and operation of the project.
The project is located in Italy’s Viterbo province.
According to the company, it inked a “10-year power purchase agreement to a “major Italian industrial customer”, which has been finalised by Axpo Italia.”
Sistema’s Board Chairman Antonio Urbano informed that agreement is just a beginning. It will be followed by other projects of over 50MW.
A local report mentioned that he called it “another step in the growth strategy of the group, which has a pipeline of over 1GW of projects in advanced development, in addition to the 42MW already in operation”.
