Jakson Green Secures INR 2.96 Billion Credit Facility from First Abu Dhabi Bank for Uzbekistan Solar Project

Jakson Green Private Limited, a new energy transition platform, has secured a credit facility of INR 2.96 billion from First Abu Dhabi Bank’s Mumbai branch. This financing will support Jakson Green’s international expansion, starting with a significant solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage project in Uzbekistan.
The project will involve the construction and operation of a 250 MW solar power plant, integrated with a 63 MW/126 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), situated in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. This initiative marks a significant step towards developing sustainable energy infrastructure in the region.
As Jakson Green extends its reach into the Middle East, Africa, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and Europe, this credit facility signifies a pivotal milestone for the company’s entry into Uzbekistan’s renewable energy market.
