German renewable energy investor and asset manager Aream Group has finalized the sale of a portfolio of 11 solar farms in Italy, boasting a total capacity of 10.6 MWp, to local independent power producer (IPP) LCF Alliance.
The solar installations, located in the southern Apulia region, were developed and built between 2009 and 2011. According to a press statement, they are currently managed by the German holding company SolEs Zarasol GmbH.
LCF Alliance, founded in 2017, has established a strong track record in the Italian market by partnering with investment funds, primarily focusing on small-scale solar projects with capacities of around 1 MW. In 2024, the company transitioned into an IPP through a joint venture with a global financial investor.
Over the years, LCF has acquired and managed more than 130 MW of capacity and overseen 90 special-purpose vehicles, collaborating with various infrastructure funds. Notably, in 2022, LCF also purchased solar farms from Aream totaling 8 MWp across Sicily and Apulia.
