Plans for a sizable solar power plant in Paniqui, Tarlac, are being advanced by Liberty Solar Energy Corporation (LSEC), a division of Alternergy. Holdings Corp., giving the province's renewable energy scene a major boost. The Department of Energy (DOE) has recognized the project, which is a component of the Liberty Solar Project, as one of Luzon's major renewable installations.
The solar installation, which has a planned capacity of about 99.8 megawatts (MW), is positioned to help the Philippines' larger shift to sustainable power sources while supplying clean electricity to the country's system.
The Liberty Solar project, which is situated on a
144-hectare plot of land, is in line with government goals for the advancement of renewable energy and the expansion of the local economy. Building goals and operational targets are advancing as environmental and technical evaluations progress, and the initial construction stages are going through permitting and preparatory work.
It is anticipated that the solar installation will have a quantifiable effect on environmental sustainability and local energy capability.
