Luxcara, a prominent player in Europe’s clean energy infrastructure management, alongside Bayerische Landesbank, has successfully reached financial closure for a substantial solar PV portfolio situated in Denmark. Boasting an impressive installed capacity of 315.7 MWp, this portfolio stands as one of the largest solar power collections in Northern Europe.
Comprising three significant projects spread across Zealand and Jutland regions, namely Barmosen (137.3 MWp), Faxe (111.6 MWp), and Vildbjerg (66.7 MWp), these solar plants commenced energization in late 2022 and achieved full grid connectivity by 2023.
While the precise financial details remain undisclosed, Nils Driemeyer, Luxcara’s Finance Director, expressed enthusiasm over the partnership with Bayerische Landesbank, deeming it a pivotal achievement for the portfolio. He highlighted the milestone’s significance, emphasizing the caliber of their projects and the potential to expedite the energy transition process.
