Matrix Renewables, backed by TPG Rise, and rPlus Energies have officially commissioned Pleasant Valley Solar 1—a landmark 200 MWac / 261 MWdc solar facility in Ada County, Idaho. It is now the largest operational solar project in Idaho Power’s system.
The project features a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Meta and Idaho Power, made possible through a customized Energy Services Agreement.
Cindy Tindell, Head of U.S. at Matrix Renewables, praised the collaboration behind the project:
“This milestone highlights our commitment to clean energy and local impact.”
Luigi Resta, CEO of rPlus Energies, added:
“As this is close to one of our offices, this project is especially meaningful to us.”
Construction, completed by Sundt Renewables, engaged around 220 workers and wrapped up on March 2nd.
Matrix and rPlus reaffirm their commitment to supporting the Ada County community throughout the project’s life cycle.
