N2OFF, a clean-tech firm known for its pioneering sustainable solutions in various industries, has revealed its foray into the solar photovoltaic (PV) sector. This expansion aims to offer investors promising assets alongside its innovations in agri-tech.
The company has joined forces with Solterra Renewable Energy Ltd., founded in 2022 by solar PV experts Eran Litvak and Yair Harel, both of whom have a track record of successful projects in the field. The founders bring over 20 years of entrepreneurial and managerial experience, excelling in business opportunities, project enhancement, and value maximization in the energy and financial sectors.
Solterra operates in Italy, Poland, and Germany, overseeing a portfolio of solar PV projects at different stages, with a cumulative capacity of around 300 megawatts.
David Palach, Chief Executive Officer of N2OFF, stated, “Recently, we have been developing our subsidiary, NTWO OFF Ltd., which focuses on reducing N₂O emissions through innovative bacterial technology for agriculture. Concurrently, we identified a promising opportunity in the expanding solar PV market. Our collaboration with Solterra’s experts, who have extensive experience in leading solar PV projects, drove our decision to enter this sector. The current loan agreement marks the start of what we anticipate will be a profitable partnership, generating significant revenue from future projects.”
