Soventix GmbH has announced the latest developments at the QMM mine solar project in Port d'Ehoala, Madagascar, as Phase 2 is now under construction.
This phase adds 6MWp of clean energy capacity to the existing 8MWp installed last year, bringing the total to 14MWp. The addition of renewable solar energy will play a significant role in decarbonizing the mining sector and driving the transition to Net Zero.
The project is being executed in partnership with CrossBoundary Energy, an Independent Power Producer (IPP), who is leading the initiative towards a sustainable future in the mining industry.
Soventix is currently expanding its project portfolio with new solar PV installations in various regions, from Europe to Africa. The company’s projects are strategically aligned with global goals for sustainability, clean energy, and carbon reduction, showcasing its expertise in scaling solutions that benefit both the environment and the economy.
