Qair Awards EPC Contract to INTEC Energy Solutions for the 46.51 MWp Brecks Solar Project in Nottinghamshire

Qair has awarded an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract to INTEC Energy Solutions for the delivery of the 46.51 MWp Brecks Solar Farm, located near Retford in Nottinghamshire.

Under the contract, INTEC Energy Solutions will be responsible for the full EPC scope, alongside operations and maintenance (O&M) services, for an initial period of two years with the option to extend.

Once operational, the Brecks Solar Project is expected to generate approximately 46.08 GWh of green electricity annually, contributing to the United Kingdom’s renewable energy targets and supporting the country’s ongoing transition toward a more secure, sustainable energy system.

The project represents a key milestone for Qair in the UK, marking the company’s first solar project in the country to reach the construction phase, and establishing a new collaboration with INTEC Energy Solutions, potentially paving the way for a long-term partnership in the UK renewable energy market.

In addition to clean electricity generation, the project will also deliver significant biodiversity enhancements, including the creation of a new pond designed to attract wildlife and improve the ecological value of the surrounding area.
