R.Power Acquires 41.1 MWp Solar Portfolio in Poland

Poland’s R.Power Renewables has clinched a deal to acquire the company holding the rights to a 41.1-MWp portfolio of solar projects in Poland as part of its plans to expand on the local market.

Warsaw-based developer of wind, solar and hydrogen projects Green Capital SA is the vendor, R.Power said in a LinkedIn post. The value of its purchase was kept under wraps.


Green Park XXV sp zoo owns the rights to a bundle of photovoltaic (PV) schemes that are currently nearing the ready-to-build phase. According to local media reports, the

projects are located in the Pomeranian region of northwestern Poland.


R.Power, which operates in Poland, Romania, Iberia, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands, has 661 MWp of capacity in operation and under construction. In March, the company said it has a 21-GWp portfolio of PV and battery energy storage assets across Europe.
