Technique Solaire has secured €302 million in senior debt financing from Bpifrance, Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies, Crédit Agricole Group banks, and Société Générale — the largest debt transaction in its history.
The funds will support the construction of 341 photovoltaic projects totaling 240 MWp across France (185 MWp), Spain (32 MWp), and the Netherlands (23 MWp), with construction starting from 2025.
The portfolio covers a range of solar applications, including agricultural sheds, climate shelters, aviaries, greenhouses, ground-mounted parks, and floating systems, with most projects benefiting from regulated tariffs.
This financing is a major milestone toward Technique Solaire’s 2030 ambition: to mobilize €4 billion and reach 4 GWp in capacity. The company already operates or builds over 1 GWp across Europe and India. It builds on previous successful fundraisings of €160M (2022), €125M (2023), €224M (2024), and a €200M equity raise in 2023.
Alongside the financing, Technique Solaire and its partners have donated €75,000 to Synergie Renouvelable to support global energy access initiatives.
Lionel Themine (Co-founder & CFO) and Edouard Dazard (Investment Director) praised the strengthened partnerships and highlighted the Group’s continued resilience and growth momentum in a complex environment.
The transaction was supported by Astris Finance (financial advisor), Watson Farley & Williams (legal), ESTER Finance (interest rate hedging), and Aurora Energy Research (pricing), with Hogan Lovells, Rina Consulting, Marsh, KPMG Advisory, and Energie Legal advising the lenders.
