Trilantic Europe made acquisition of a 60% stake in solar mounting solutions provider Aerocompact Group.
The private equity firm made this investment in order to accelerate the company’s growth plan on a global level.
It has been informed that the company founder Mathias Muther will continue with a 40% stake under his private foundation.
Mathias Muther, founder of Aerocompact was quoted in a statement, "Our strong growth trajectory since the company was founded around ten years ago shows that there is enormous potential in our products and engineering services. The entry of Trilantic Europe opens up the opportunity to accelerate our growth plan to expand our international market presence and seek potential acquisitions even further.”
He further stated that together the companies plan to achieve more in the renewable energy sector and in the capital market.
The company is of view that the latest transaction will still leave Aerocompact with a strong capital structure to invest in future growth.
Meanwhile, Vittorio Pignatti-Morano, Chairman of Trilantic Europe, remarked, "We have been impressed by the quality of Aerocompact’s solar mounting solutions, the growth momentum shown across all its current markets, and the enthusiasm and vision of the entire team.”
