Adani Green Energy made a significant move by introducing two step-down subsidiaries, Adani Renewable Energy Fifty One Ltd (ARE51L) and Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Five Ltd (ARE55L). The incorporation process was carried out by Adani Saur Urja (KA) Ltd and Adani Renewable Energy Holding Nine Ltd, wholly-owned subsidiaries of Adani Green Energy.
Both ARE51L and ARE55L possess an authorized and paid share capital of Rs one lakh each. The primary focus of these newly formed subsidiaries is the generation, development, transformation, distribution, transmission, sale, and supply of various forms of power or electrical energy. This includes harnessing energy from renewable sources such as wind energy, solar energy, and other sustainable means.
The subsidiaries were officially registered with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, 2023. Despite their recent incorporation, the two entities are yet to commence their business operations.
This strategic move aligns with Adani Green Energy’s commitment to sustainable and renewable energy practices. By establishing these subsidiaries, the company aims to play a pivotal role in advancing the adoption of clean energy solutions in India. The incorporation of these entities underscores Adani Green Energy’s dedication to contributing to the renewable energy sector, emphasizing their role in the generation and distribution of power from eco-friendly sources.
